It sure is a big kit :)

The only issues with the kit are the locations of the holes for the outside bits ( technical term that )

I have ordered the extra decals for it from the US and will add those when they arrive just to add that little extra touch :)

Anyway hope you like it, I really enjoyed it, was like three kits in one with the Lunar Module and Command Module to build separately View attachment 86892

That is just...'OUT OF THIS WORLD!'

Seriously Adrian, this is just stunning, I'm very envious of you-would love to own it but just don't have the room... :(

Great build, the detailing and paintwork are sublime, flawless.

Si:)

Hi Adrian

Apollo 11 looks fabulous a very impressive model. The finish you've given the model looks flawless and the detail on the lander and command module looks great.

Brilliant stuff and a medal for sure

Paul

Beautiful model Adrian. Nicely done, it looks flawless. I like the transparent area showing the modules.

Simply stunning Adrian , it really is fine work I like this a lot :)

I might get the airfix one as it's a lot smaller

Absolutely brilliant job. I remember making the Airfix one as a youngster and masking for the matt black in all those tiny little recesses in the corrugated areas was a real pain. Yours looks very neat and the lunar and command modules look superb.

Fantastic work Adrian!

Very clean and tidy build. The lunar modules looks superb ;) very well done!

That is rather cool.

It is big but the foot print is ok.

So....all you need now is the gantry to stop it falling over.... ;-)

Well it's American so, 'good job' as my American colleagues seem keen to say as often as they can !

It looks really tasty and rather big. Where on earth will you keep this beauty? Answers on a post card and, given the shape, the smutty answers will be deleted :)

Cheers

Steve

Amazing stuff really fine rocket you have there and as everyone's said fantastic finish love it.

Thanks all for the positive comments, not sure how to store it yet Steve, but it was suggested that I wire it up and make a lamp out of it lol.

If anyone is coming to A.S.V.C's annual show in Sept you'll see it on our table,, doubt you can miss it really :)

Adrian

great build Adrian ,looks fantastic with the transparent area showing the modules.

Awesome Adrian, looks really clean and crisp. Great job with the painting and detailing! I remember watching the real ones launch and they were even more Impressive than the Shuttle! Very nicely done Sir!!!

Just for info based on this interest, 'Wonderland Models' are having a sale on all their 'Dragon Space Collection' at the moment.

Gregg

Adrian, great job, have you seen the Dragon Rockets etc. sale and Wonderland Models? Derek
