discussion Are there any 1/48 Heinkel He 111??

Hi

My son and I are trying to put together a bit of a WWII European air war theme on his ceiling. I am having real trouble finding a 1/48 scale Heinkel He 111.

Is there one out there?

There seems to be a real dearth in choice when it comes to German bombers on the market......

Well there arnt many only old momogram ones on ebay https://m.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m4084.l1313&_nkw=1/48+heinkel+111 can try that one but it could get expensive

This one can still be found. Its the old Monogram kit reissued by Revell which came out in rhe nineties. I built one back then and remember it as a very nice kit. Recessed panel lines and highly detailed cockpit

Revell/ Monogram also did the HE111-H22 V1 carrier. This kit had a different fuselage with dorsal turret. So couldnt be built as a battle of britain machine

amazon got this in 1:48 scale

Go to scalemates, and search up 1/48 He 111. It will come up with every he 111 made in the history of modelling.

I want that Revell kit!
Hard to find. They pop up on eBay every now and then for silly money.
Can someone have a word with Tamiya and get them to do one?

Mine is on the way. Look up on wonderland models or eBay...

ICM have just released a new kit. I watched an inbox review of it only yesterday. It appeared to be a nice kit.
