Finally had a visitor to take a pic.

I was debating whether to do this as I didn't want to upset the rest of you with my wonderful looks! Face of a film star (Lassie) and body of a God (Buddha).

I second that Dave but saying that there has been a great response so I shouldn't complain, there's always going to be a few stragglers.
 
I was wondering why everyone was showing their mug shots........Okay, so here's mine at a classic car race day (where they close the public roads and let leather-clad helmeted bods race their vintage wheels.
 
It's great to see what everyone looks like. We all look pretty normal, not how most would imagine plastic-loving nerds at all :plane:
 
Well seeing as this is such a fantastic initiative I had to join in really, I couldn't be Popeye any longer!!

This really is a brilliant idea and just shows what a great forum this is. Every other forum you go to members hide behind all sorts of crazy pictures and get away with being les than friendly to each other. Here we all want to be seen! Doesn't it make the forum an even more freindly place? Amazing.

Anyway we decided to have a submarine day at the Kirklees Model Boat club a few years ago, which unfortunately didn't come off however I was ready for it! The jacket is actually a modern jacket but it has been copied from an old U-Boat commander jacket. The white pully sets it off that bit more authentically and the cap is my own.
 
A very mixed bunch too!!! It certainly is nice to see who we talk to. Make this place even friendlier!
 
Just changed mine - where are all the youngsters, like going into model shops everyone seems to be +40. Derek

Derek, from what I can gather many seem to give it up between their late teens and return to it in their late 30s, early 40s.......

Only mine was to big & I was falling in love with myself. Big fib.

But it was to big & I was becoming haunted with him. Never seen him so much in all my life. So now it is smaller.
