Dead right John up close.

Only mine was to big & I was falling in love with myself. Big fib.

But it was to big & I was becoming haunted with him. Never seen him so much in all my life. So now it is smaller.

Agree Barry makes the place feel so human & friendly.

What a fantastic thread. On any other forum all you seem to find nowadays is members having a dig at each other and generally being unfreindly yet here we all want to actually see each other. Great idea and amazing to see so many of us wanting to join in. I guess I'd better tow the line then and show myself!

The picture was as a result of a proposed submarine day we were going to ahve at Kirklees Model Boat club a couple of years ago which unfortunately didn't come about. Consequently I was all dressed up and no-where to go! Never mind we might have another crack at it one day. Anyway the jacket was actually made based on the design of an old U-Boat comander's jacket, the pully sets it off nicely and the cap is my own anyway. I thought it set the tone anyway!

So thanks Vaughan great idea which has turned into a real winner. Pity this sense of getting on, despite each of us have our own ideas, can not be exported to the whole community.
