While waiting for the F-105D to show up I started work on my Dragon 1/200 B-52G, it will be in it's final scheme of overall gunship gray with an image of the Statue of Liberty on the tail. I have 16 grams of weight in the forward fuselage and have the fuselage halves glued up.

Here is a B-52C of the 99th BW of SAC at Westover Air Force Base in early 60s. About 50 miles from where I grew up in western Massachusetts. We use to see B-52Ds when they upgraded, and I saw them in the late 60s-early 70s when we drove to UMASS to visit my older brother at college. I remember seeing one, black belly and SEA camo on top, taking off. I think they frequented Andersen in Guam.

If you build this remember to flip part D2 180 degrees. The piece with the front intake fans has the scoops on top of the engines instead of under them, you have to make a hole in the engine body larger to accept it right side up.
