Just seen this on Facebook.When complete it will be the only Liberator in the Southern Hemisphere.
 
thats a another great find Dave,that place is only about 50 mins from were i,m at, and did not even know, thank you, :D

Definately worth a visit if your into that sort of thing, like I am.
 
it would be well worth it, and i do know that it was still an airfield,up to a few years ago they trained pilots out there
 
I no nothing about planes but I have heard of b17s and b24 and I am pretty sure I built a b17 ( if that's a flying fortress ) as a teenager(probably just glued together decaled and that's that, no paint and more glue than the model weight) but the point is I've heard of it. I think at least one example of all WWII planes should be kept in flying condition. ps I like the aussie colour scheme.
