The old Monogram kit of the B25-J Mitchell, despite the raised panel lines and some ill fits, it still built into a decent model. Airbrushed with Model Master enamels and top coated with Testors Dulcote. This ship flew with the 489th Bombardment Squadron "Falcons", 345th Bombardment Group "Air Apaches". Imagine 14 .50 cal guns firing rounds the size of your thumb at a rate of 450-600 rounds a minute!

Magnificent model!

Clean and tidy, with some nice details like the subtle weathering on the front part (machine-guns). The decal job looks spot on!

Great one ;)

superb build,Trey, looks great real like the suitable weathering, and the tones of color are real well done, ;)

Trey, that is one of the best examples of nose art decal work I've ever seen.

Beautiful all round model too.

wonderful build Trey, such a beautiful aircraft and beautifully painted. One of my all time faves, this one!

...and that .50 cal. round is a quiet reminder of how big they are...

Great work Trey . Now a compulsory purchase for next year from one of the many model shows :)

My list is growing again! :)

A superb example of a B-25 there Trey! One of the favourites of my youth when flown by Johnny Red! ;)

You've got the OD spot on there - it's tempting me to get a Monogram B-17 or B-24 :)

But 14 50 cals? Surely 12?

Thanks all for the kind comments ! Patrick with the top Turret pointing forward that would make 14 ;)

That's what I counted too, but wasn't too sure of the calibre of the top turret.....

Promise me you'll shape up Patrick? :P
