Hi Greg, this is looking fabulous in paint now.
I have a large chunk of US battleship to paint.... You may not be aware....
May I ask what colour you have used?

I wonder how many US battleship you have.
For the colors l used basically two brands.
vallejo and meng.

-landing deck meng mc-291 deck blue 20b

-external walls vallejo 71.120 dark ghost grey
-lower hull meng mc-293 sea blue 5s

I used also vallejo black/grey/navy blue grey washes to do weathering.
since all these are waterbased colors be sure to seal your base with vallejo or mig matt/ultra matt varnish before you apply all the washes

Beautiful weathering Greg, I particularly like the stressed metal hull in the last picture. The weathering makes it pop out.
Rome wasn't built in a day so you're on the right track.

Well Neil indeed she is something and she is still giving me loads of fun...
So here is today's update on the carrier for the diorama. l placed bow's aircontrol platform and scratchbuilt safety net...plus note the first 5 .50 cal water cooled AA guns...enjoy.
