Battle of Coral Sea Yorktown CV-5

The detail here is crazy. This will certainly be most impressive when you're done, Gregory.

Really coming on magnificently Greg
Looking at the catwalk in the last image didn't half trigger the ole memory muscle!! I went to jump into the fwd starboard catwalk on the 'grey lady', (HMS Albion). It was where one of the refuel stations was located. Only trouble - the catwalk wasn't there - gone - missing!! Lucky I noticed before I leapt into it or it would have been an impromptu swim for me.

More detailing you say Greg...amazing. By the time it's finished it'll be hard to stay afloat...just kidding. Great work there, fit for display at a museum with all that detail.:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:...that's for four years work, worth it.

Cheers,
Wabble

Thanks Richard...l'm humbled of your comment...
Dear all here is today's update on the carrier l had to make a massive correction for the 20mm oerlikon platform...it was misplaced by the plan..so l had to move it forward plus l remove the flagpole that was not on the carrier at that moment of time, finally l added a bended tube on the platform itself...and last by not least l started stern's platforms....
PS
note the searchlight on the top of bow's connecting platform...enjoy20240905_200512.jpg20240905_200534.jpg
