I'm agree! Looks a really detailed model. O_o

Looking very good so far, I'm waiting for your next step Ian.

Right after a bout of putting up blinds., laying flooring and painting the living and dining room. Walls and ceilings! (Not in that order I add) I thought it time to paint something sensible.

So connected up the compressor, and the airbrush and found some primer. Vallejo as I still need some extraction and it smells less.

After a bit of faffing around with the pressure I got the "big bits" primed.

Also the chassis but forgot to take a piccy of that bit!
More later.

Well I have been busy with "domestic service" the last few days, so been grabbing a half hour at the bench here and there.

After a bit of faffing around making a tarpaulin I ripped it off again and am making a pay load for it...

Not taken that many photos I'm afraid but this is where its at, The cab is just sitting lose at the moment.

The camo is free hand. the Green is Tank pads British green G3 and the "black" is Vallejo Black grey with a tiny drop of dark blue.

Here is the load. Foam rubber blocks with some grain free tissue and painted with loads of thinned down PVA. Once that has dried, I'll give it a coat or two more before painting it. I had to move the truck bed back a bit to get the petrol tank to fit, so need to touch up a few places on the chassis!
Need to put the hubs on and a couple of other snappy off bits then its detail painting and a bit of decal work.

Welcome back to getting your hands dirty again, and may I say that I like this build so far, you haven't lost your touch whilst you were away.
