It be my birthday today, not that I am bothered as, probably like many of us on here, just another day....although I am only 35 and still in my prime...ahem.

Anyway, got cards and some dosh but got a really nice surprise from my mate.

I wrote a couple of books, just self published and many years ago now , not the best but just wanted to give it a try. Anyway, one I do not own a copy of and my mate got one from me...the main surprise was when I opened up the cover it was stamped.

Learning centre
10th May 2004
RAF BOULMER

ROYAL AIR FORCE
GENERAL EDUCATION SCHEME
STATION REFERENCE LIBRARY BOOKS

Now, the book is titled The Murders Of Mutchrose Village and has nothing to do with the RAF...cool though or what!

Not many can say they got a copy of the book they wrote as a gift for their own birthday.
