Im trying to find a supplier or someone that can produce me a min of 2 or 4 blue light domes for my erf dinky wheeled escape fire engines conversions. The domes need to be 9mm wide and 9mm round. They need to be able to take a small led light and not solid filled. Ive tried some on on ebay but they cant create the domes I need

The only ones I have found on ebay are light bars ( light bars were only used in the fire service from the mid 80's) a light bar would not be appropriate for the model I need to fit it to.
The model I am working on at the moment is a dinky erf wheeled escape which was in service in the 50's 60's and 70's. One of the stations I worked at didn't get rid of the wheeled escape till late 1979 and was used a standby engine when the normal engines went in for servicing.
I have found companyies on ebay that sells the lighting kits but not the domes.

I have sent a few enquiry emails to companies asking if they can reproduce the dome I need.

You will not escape me, lol lol after hunting high and low Ive found the blue domes I wanted and guess what they were under my nose all the time. Somebody reminded me about my all time favourite toy lego bricks, and showed me their latest purchase from the light and sound ranges. on top of the model was the perfect size dome..
So off I trot to my trusty computer and searched for the relevant part and my search was rewarded a pack of 8 domes costing a sum of £4 plus £1.50 postage and packing.

Now only to decided where the lights should be positioned.
