Thread owner
Chris, I've been following this build from the start and check in every few weeks to see how you are getting on. I have to say mate, this is truly an awesome thing of beauty and I can't wait to see vids of it under power on the pond.

Oh, and I think you should build the HMS Queen Elizabeth next. ;)
AN HI Bob glad you have been followin the build from the start an even i dint realise how she would turn out as im very pleased with the outcome an not every thing is fitted on her from the plans but all the main bits are as she is gettin heavy an a big girl an my freind paul said he will help me get her to the car an then get her out at the pond but its gonna be very nevre rackin rememberin everything to get her to sail so i'll just have to take my time gettin her ready an build Q/E URG I DONT LIKE IT IM AFRAID as i dont like the design an as im thinking of building HMS CLYDE IN 1/48 th scale but this ship even though its in a big scale she will be only bout 5 ft long so it will be liftable
an cheers for stoppin

Just had a catch up on this Chris, and I'm sat here totally gobsmacked.
She's absolutely gorgeous, all the hard work and attention to detail you've put into her really does show, I'd be petrified to even go anywhere near a boating lake with something so gorgeous. I wonder if Jen has a 1/72 bottle of champagne ready to christen her before her maiden voyage ?
When I see what you've created from just a set of plans it puts my efforts with preformed plastic model parts to shame,
A most excellent build buddy,

Sounds a bit like my TR4A rebuild Chris - I had to work on one side then get some help push it out to push it out of the garage, turn it round and push it back in to work on the other side.
