BUT there is one part that puzzules me an how can the front undercart fold up backwards when that big tank is in the way as it nearly touches the front gear ?

Looking good Chris. For the burnt metal effects, start with a gun-metal metallic, then lightly dry brush using lighter metallics, such as aluminium or steel to pick out the detail. Then go to town with a rust wash and/or you can use powders or pigments to create variations in the finish, colours such as browns, blues etc to simulate the heat effect. Seal it all in with a varnish.

There are other methods of course, but whatever method you choose, I suggest you experiment on a scrap piece or on the inside of a part that will never be seen again first. Check some of @yakface Tony's century-series fighter builds for some inspiration.

AN a shot here of how the wireing for the nav lights went into the thin

wings so

had to keep the wires streched out thin as the whole wing is very thin an i would have had a hard job of closeing them up if i had bundeld up the wires IMG_1811.webpthe wires

Nicely done Chris 👍

The undercarriage looks very impressive, well worth the full swear box 😂

Geoff.
