yes she is pretty big as you say a slab but im pretty sure that the lead im fitting in will stop her tail sitting as it a big an heavy tail seckion well i could not fit anymore lead in the nose as its full of F/O so the only way to go was lead in the big engines as the inner ones are near up to the cockpit so should do the job cheers sirs for your replys an thanks joe for your nice comments on her

HI GUYS well still at this plane an she's putting up a fight again with her engines now as they were warped a little out of alinement so clamping them an sanding them engines an so far on this plane ive used up 7 sheets of fine grit sandpaper an now a couple of pics of the engines all bein gluded an clamped as it took a job to get them to line up again just like the fusealarge
an here the big inner engine an they were all warped a bit so a challenge there

AN again tryin to get the outer engines to line up without no ugly ridges as they were warped as well an wont line up untill i got the snipe nosed plyiers on them an bent them while gluein oh dear

HI GUYS well im now here tryin to paint up these engines an very awkward as fitting the tamyia tape on to spray the gray on them engines took me near
6 hrs of fiddley work

an sprayed grey an i think this was a different type of metal they used on them engines

an here im now painting on the wing tips the white an soon be red today reconnistion colours in case she crashed in the artic as they flew a i think a race track pattern between amaerica an russia for quick respone to drop her nuckes

AN i think its looks a very sinister lookin plane for the end of the world but thank goodness it never happened but could still do

HI Geoff yes she was a beautifull plane an had some nice lines about her an glad she was never used in anger but i saw the real plane up at raf coltishall airshow early 70s an glad you like her yes she should look a nice plane when finshed but the coluors i want to do her in is goin to be awkward to paint on the fusealarge up near the cockpit is white -red an black so jen says she will hold the plane while i try an draw with a light pencil where ive got to mask her up
