Bob' s Tamiya He 219 night fighter

Hi Bob,
Sorry to read your feeling a off. Get yer feet up and take it easy mate and don’t get yourself all excited about StuG’s for a bit:tongue-out2:

Take care

Too late Si, new Stug book on the way. Watched Stug stuff on YT, some terrible but also some good, had to fan myself to stop getting over heated lol

Call me a worrier, but I'm building the Revell 1/32 version - and it needs LOTS and LOTS of weight to stop it tail sitting. I know Tamiya provide a metal tub for the cockpit but I'd be inclined to check it's enough.

Hi Gern, got three of them, mad i know but hope/plan to do three varients. Are you posting the build, very interested to see!!

All the reviews i have read say its fine but yes good idea to check as it progresses!

Al Si, tell you what, one such Stug video showed a bloody F8 on the invasion of France, France my bum. Who does this cr#p!

Got all hot under the collar lol

Lawdy Bob,

I know the feeling all too well. It's like seeing a soldier with a Panzerfaust on his shoulder in France, in 1940.....About 4 years too early I would say, according to history…………...

Here you go Bob. Long time since we've posted and some progress made. I'm still head down in the manual for my camera but I'll try and get some pics soon.

After the great builds and progress I had better get a move on! Cockpit almost finished, I think!

Had some fun with the seatbelts and never used them before, the are Eduard steel, do not know if there's better ones out there??

Hope it looks ok to you aircraft chaps??

That looks excellent. The PE was definitely worth the effort and the belts look great too!
