My kowledge of WWI airplanes is sorely lacking (well, just about any aircraft really...) had to google that one :smiling4:
It looks to be a very impressing build :thumb2: - any thoughts on whether it will be a stand - alone or maybe dio?
It's going to be a Vignette.
The subject on a small base with a couple of other things, ( without giving anything away ).

Sounds interesting :-)
On that note, could somebody give a complete GB - noob (me) some pointers, in terms of GB etiquette, lest I trash around like the proverbial bull?
What I have garnered and please correct me if I am in error :
The element of surprise should be central in the posts before the start - not giving the game away - right? - but what after? can the the actual build threads be as detailed as a normal build thread?
Is a winner declared?

Hi, Brad. Can I join in please?

Not much point in writing what it will be, because there will be precious left of the thing!......

Hi Steven there doesn't need to be a suprise, you can tell us what your building, how your going to build it, and how you are going to display it if you want.
The golden rules are
Box art and sprues must be shown in the build thread before you start.
No starting until the date and time stated
It's all just for fun no prizes

Of course you can if you moderate for us please.....:hugging-face::thumb2:

Thanks Ian, I find it difficult to keep up with things due to work.:thumb2:

Brad - No need. Any kit(s) / bust(s) / figure(S) / scratch built, WW1 related. Start July 28th - Finish November 11th.

Even someone with the I.Q. of a backward Clam should get it right - Or will they?!

Anyway, apart from anything else, this is Scale Models. We all moderate ourselves here......

Lol... Welcome, glad to have you ''aboard'', no pun intended!!:rolling::thumb2:

As I have several builds to complete over the summer I have had to speed up my descision - making and with out giving too much away:
Shot - barreled, and sharing a slang namesake with the girlfriend of Mickey Mouse....
Dio wil if possible have some sort of electric feature

I will attempt to join in with this. (Time is short - my house is being rebuilt after a flood and my daughter gets married in October.) I've never joined in a group build, but this might help with motivation - so much distraction at the moment!

I have my gear now, just too decide what to do.....:confounded::thinking:

Steven

There should be more kits available for artillery. I think 1/24th scale is the ideal size. I wanted to build something last year so I had to build from scratch. There are a number of great sites on the web where you can get inspiration.
