So far so good everything seems to be going together just fine.
I cant get over the size of this sub. What a show piece it will be.
Yes Steve she is a bit on the big size, I would like to display it in the living room (Chris's recommendation) but a case is way too expensive and without would just be a dust magnet, so in with one of the others it goes

HI Bri WOW with the conning tower on he is now lookin like a grey wolf very well done Sir on the second try an i cant understand why the makers dint make it so the clear side of the conning tower is not on all the clear side some ones made a b*lls up at he makers or is it suppoced to be like this as i said i would have loved to had a go at this model if not for the fact you have built it twice a bit of a cost but your Swmbo thinks a lot of you to rebuy it for you to have a mark 2 vershion well done her

Thanks Chris but maybe a bit premature I have cracked the perspex on the aft section and am absolutely gutted need some idea's to make it less obvious.
Started the repair, going to run the paint a bit lower to hide the crack.
...mud for land, paint for sea....:smiling:
bri give us a close up on the crack if you dont mind an how did that happen ? but not the end of the world look at the things gone wrong on my tomcat an you have only one thing so no worreis an if you can cover it up brilliant

was a bit pi553d off the fit was poor and I tried to leaver the aft section over the main hull and, crack ......my fault
A bit more work needed but primer on
So true Paul you can hide a multitude of errors that way
A bit of weathering and you won't see it
