Just got a bit of sanding then on to the second planking, I'm going to use impact adhesive as It's more cost effective than CA and less chance of me sticking my fingers to the hull. :)

Made a start on the second planking using the 5x1 mm walnut the first of many lol

Just sublime Brian.Very maritime where i live with Harwich just up the road.Theres a pub in Walton called the Victory.Love what you are doing with this kit.

Done for the night and only glued my fingers to the hull on 4 occasions :)

Had an hour or so at the table, progress not very exciting I'm afraid :) A bit more planking and some gun ports opened up

Just been reading ahead in the build and oh my there are 2500 copper plates to fit (Oh yey) but before that I'll have to finish the planking and at this rate should take me a while.
