I am amazed at times to find that some have two or many more models on the go.
I must be weired as I cannot handle more than one at a time. If I started a second I would not go back to the first or if I did I would not make a good job of it as i would have lost interest.
I do find enough work on one model, and plan it that way, to ensure that I am not left waiting around etc. I find it is bad enough having left, due to circumstances, a model and then picking it up again.
Put as a matter of no interest what so ever

a poll.

In some ways I agree with you LAurie but I my case I start a project oh let's say for instance a 1/48 B17G
I then do the research on a certain "fort" that is not the box art, then I find out about the crew etc and the pilot..,,,, this may lead me off in a different direction as say this pilot flew Douglas Bostons before joining that bomber group. I then get a Boston start that while I'm doing the fort.
The I'll read something else on reference search and that may lead me to a vehicle ( armour) etc etc the list goes on.
I joined here in March and never had done a diorama before othe than those ones that AIrfix etc did years ago.
I have seen some fantastic pieces of work on here and it has inspired me a lot more, maybe I could build one.
I now have a lot of pieces for my diorama " Ardennes Assault ( the diorama base is coming along but as we all know we are very critical of our work.I am hoping to get it finished as soon as I get more time to work on it.
MY work I do restricts me to the time I can spend modelling, plus other things in life ( oh did I mention the wife!!!
The Vallejo paints ( which thanks to you are growing in size and quantity, as I find them very accurate to the work I do ie in correct colours and ease of use.
So back to how many projects I have on the go ( well I have lots started and a few kits I'll never finish as I lose interest as they are quite complicated builds.
This is not a cop out as my wife has just said but it's more I need more info on that particular build.
Last weekend I was working on the dio base and while waiting for paints to dry looked at other kits I have in my stash and this has brought new fresh ideas in to the front of my mind ie reference materials to complete this build etc etc the wheel never stops.
Will I aspire to the talents of some of the guys on here ? I'll never know.. And now I'm looking forward to my birthday and a new Airbrush ( fingers crossed )
Maybe I should start showing off the stuff I did before I joined here.
Kind regards
Robert
