Day 36

Time for primer. I will still leave the funned removable it will make it easier to weather I think.

I also managed to paint the water tank but it had two different shades of green before I decided on this one. Should look good with some streaking grime. It wouldn't be in a position for taking a bashing so there will be little work to do on this part. I think the extra detail I added makes it look a little more convincing to the eye.

Just caught up on this Andy (ive been sitting around a bit mojo-less for some reason)

Any way .... to the point .... you deserve to have that smug look from what I see in those photos :)

Hi Andy,

I have never really been a boat person, but this is simply stunning Sir, each time I see that you have posted I pop in to check it out and each time I am impressed...

Thanks Andy. I always try to impress and your valued comments and all the other guys tells me im on the right track. My next project will be nice and clean as im thinking on building a steam boat complete with the steam plant and im hoping it will be a showcase piece.

See what happens when I don't keep up with progress?

Brilliant stuff Andy...It's come on leaps and bounds since I last looked. The weathering is excellent - top marks!

Day 40 -42

I have made some progress over the last few days especially the last two as I finally got the planking I need. I made sure I brought a lot more than I need this time so I don't have to wait 4 weeks again. I have added a few more touches to the weathering that I think was needed and managed to fit quite a few more parts.

The Captains Cabin is now in place but still a bit of work inside to do before we move the furniture inside.
