Onwards and upwards, I've started some work on the display base for Skyline. The car is going to be shown mounting the curb on the apex of the corner, though not as spectacularly as the accompanying picture.

I've also test fitted the driver.

Hi Gavin, this is looking good the underside is looking spectacular.

Just caught up with this one Gavin & I've gotta say it's looking really good! I'd love to see your Skyline getting both wheels off the ground :)

Cheers

Patrick

Well, the build is moving along and the track is taking shape.

I wanted to fit the driver out with a safety harness, but I may have bitten off more that i can chew - take a look at the size of the PE buckle that is used on the harness. I hope that I can do it some justice.

Here is the body with all the decals applied ready for the clear coat - just pray that I don't mess that up.

This is coming along well... how is the clear going?

That is going to need some rubbing down with some really fine grit water paper..... o.O

Then I'm going to mask up the windows for their spray prep and decals as well as the body for a semi gloss black treatment around the windows .....not looking forward to that. :/

Oh yes, fit the windows and there are the side mirrors and the rear aero spoiler. O.o

Once they on then it will be a spot of weathering treatment and putting a bounce in the cars' stance in the base and it will be finished......I think. :D

Well you make it sound easy so I expect top results haha. I'm sure it will look great though. I have been trying to grab 20 mins here and there to wet sand my gt5 turbo. Have done 2/3 of it. I know your pain.
