I drive a 7 1/2 ton (sometimes 17 ton) lorry for a living , delivering stuff to people, and ive got to agree with ray (delmonteman ) - half cant see you and the other half seem determined to crash into you!! The number of times people have pulled out in front of this big green lorry ,complete with headlights on, as if its not there is unbelievable!! Trouble is ,working for a leading retailer with a suitably emblazoned lorry means i just have to ignore the idiots and bite my tongue ,we cant be seen arguing with members of the public , although its never silent in the cab!!! hope they dont ever fit voice recorders in there , i'd be sacked after about 5 mins!! cheers tony

I don't know Colin. I was just told that I wouldn't be needed because he had pleaded guilty to that and some other unspecified offences.

it's happened again today ! I was exiting a carpark in newton abbot and because its a tight turn you have to partly go over the centre line , anyway half way through my turn a woman in in micra pulled in but did she stop to let by seeing as I had right of way ? oh no she just came straight at me and never flinched, I stopped and she carried on and must have missed my front drivers wing by an inch I thought she was definatly going to hit me she was that close.

I don't do this women are worse drivers than men I think there are good and bad no matter what sex you are but just lately ive had more near misses when women are involved than I have with men, maybe this theory about women being better drivers has the fairer sex thinking because they are women they are fantastic drivers and can drive how they wish.
