Hi all this is just so beautiful I could not resist posting. I walk down this drive to the Hall every day and this time of year it is just so beautiful

I was out cutting the lawn yesterday, last year I was shovelling snow!!!

Yes very nice Ken. Nothing like the English country side.

Living in Jersey we miss all of that. The Autumn winds strip the trees very quickly of leaves as no part of the Island is more than 2.5 miles from the sea.

Being a Surrey boy I miss the glorious colour of the trees in October and November. I went through Surrey last year at this time and the colours were just incredible. Even in London the scene carried on.

Your walk must also be beautiful during the Spring with all the leaves bursting into that luscious bright clean green. That is something we do get in Jersey. Plus daffodils used to be an export with the fields full in the 60's. Not now but bulbs at the end of the daffodil season were dumped on the field edges and scattered here there and every where. Now in February the Island is a sea of daffodils they are sprinkled every where.

Very nice , it's not so unusual to see a lot of green this time of year there are loads of trees and bushes in rangeland that are green all year around
