Just wondering who if anyone on here feels the same and also shares a passion for angling. I love building models in the winter months , but when spring rolls around , Im all about fishing.

The winters in upstate NY where I live are long and hard at times , so it seems like forever in between fall and spring. There is ice fishing of course , but Im not a big fan of freezing my nuts off! Spring here offers awesome trout and bass fishing in the local streams and reservoirs. So am I alone on this one, or do some of you love to get out on the water and wet a few lines too?

First whats this 'Winter' thing you speak of? Love to get some lines wet too Chris ,We caught a mess of Crappy and fried em up last night nothing like good fresh caught fish! Move South no need to freeze you're dangly bits off!

Only way to catch crappie here is to drill a hole through about 20 inches of ice and drop a minnow down it.

Fishing is very popular in Scotland but I'm afraid mountain biking is my main hobby. It is doable all year here (if you don't break your ribs doing it like I just did. Oops)

i do enjoy fishing but dont have much time too,and also no one to go with ,as i did just drift away for some friends and there other halfs had a boat,

would be nice , ;)

I like the odd cast I fish with vintage gear centrepin reel and cane rod I make my own floats from quills etc. and spend many quiet hours on the river bank.

I have been known to fish on occasion. Have not been for a rather long time due to "health issues"

Roll on the summer.

i can't wait for spring myself can get outside and clear my shed out and turn it into a man cave/spray booth it's not very big 6' x 3' but it will do the job i have another plastic shed so as much of the stuff in the big shed will go in the little plastic one the rest i will have to juggle stuff around maybe put some things in the loft
