Nice work so far but my suggestion would be put the roof on it B**&dy Cold in here and if it rains I would not be happy at getting wet :P :D

Great. not going to get cold or going to get wet, but that real does look nice Polux are you going to do a little fishing port or not to go with the. Captain Jack's Boat & Bait House. that would like really good if you did do a fishing port and village. PS how much is the rent for that place. :P :D

I've just read this build from the start. Great work Polux.

That's the beautiful thing about this sort of build. You can add or remove as you please to make the structure unique to yourself.

I agree with you about the stonework. It does need replacing with something more in keeping with the rest of the excellent building. It does let the rest down.

Rather than real stones, how about scribing the stonework onto some thin polystyrene, or similar? Rather like I did on my Rorke's Drift Store house - only better!! Then sticking it to the card ones on your building.....

Yep!!

The idea is, that model, be part of a train layout.

I will add some part of sea or a lake....with a lovely dock house :)

Thanks for your comments ;)

Hi Ron!!

I was thinking about this option as well....and maybe is the best one :)

Your results are always great mate!!

That's very nice Polux, the lettering has come out really well and nicely weathered. I had visions of it being a big bold 'Captain Jack's - but no, it looks dead right.

Nice one....

this is coming along a real treat Polux,do real like how your doing it,

even down to the fine detail,of locks and handles,

the roof looks great and nicely blended with the sign,as Ron said, was thinking

the same very well done so far, ;)

Thank you very much Ron & Moni for your excellent comments!

But I done a mistake.... I added a matt varnish coat to preserve the letter's work, and it looks different now

The roof was painted with pigments...I'm thinking, now, if add some more to recuperate the past texture and colour.

But I have the letters now!! A real problem!!
