Unfortunately the older we get the more likely these things are to happen. Just over a year ago I flew from Manchester to Florida to start a three month period on the ship. A week later I was back home and by my wife's bedside in Lincoln hospital! She had a ruptured appendix which had been going on for so long had become gangarenous. She is fine now and everything back to normal.

I'm sure things will settle down once they have identified the cause and know how to deal with it and she will soon be back with you and things will get back to normal.

Hi folks came home from work at 16:20 hours yesterday only to find my wife Carrie had to be taken to the hospital with heart problems, my little girl hasn't understood why mummy wasn't at home last night and is a little upset. They might have to keep her in for the next few days and I have to admit for the first time in a while iam very worried, sorry folks just needed to get that off my chest so thanks for listening.scott

No need to apologise as this must be a very worrying time for you both.

Having experienced similar while living in Cyprus we can sympathise.

Hopefully all will turn out well, and the people on here are all friends, and I'm sure will be here to support you anyway they can.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts, the good news is that she has been discharged this evening with explicit orders to rest. Both me and especially Mia are relieved to have here home, again thank you to everyone for your support.
