Hi Guys

I decided that I should have a go at painting some of my busts so here is my effort of the first bust I released: Carton de Wiart VC.

My technique is to start with an undercoat using Vallejo acrylics:

Then add glazes using artists' oil paints:

Thanks for the compliments and support.

Peter - it is nice to paint my own sculptings, I just wish I was better at it, I just can't seem to manage stronger contrasts, when I do they end up looking a bit cartoonish. More practice I suppose.
