Yes indeed, the written word can be misinterpreted, as in:

Please stay with us Richard. I gather the original issue was about feedback on other builds. No complaints - the more the merrier - but there are so many folks building and posting nowadays, there just isn't time to reply to every post, else we'd never get any time for our own builds.
Which raises a question for me. Richard, did you report the post ? I have to ask because I didn't see any notifications flag up.
My advice to you Richard and anyone is, if a post feels wrong, either something directed at you, or towards another forum member, please report it, then the owner / Admin / moderators can view and deal with the problem.
99% of the time this a great friendly place to be, that 1% needs to be highlighted to the moderators. Unfortunately, we don't see every post made, so we do rely on you chaps to point us in the right direction.
And Richard, I'm glad to read, you have reconsidered your decision.
