Hi I hope you don't mind if I have another go and try and finish it.
Put together the turret, removed molding that I'll be replacing with some bling.

Thank you for looking in.

I used to work on them mate so they bring back good memories.
I'd better get my books out then, don't want to be up before the SM on a charge for mending something that wasn't broken in the first place, know what I mean :smiling5: :smiling5: :smiling5: .

Hiya Pete,
Cracking work fellah:thumb2: I think the Cheiftain is a sleek looking tank and it one that I have on my bucket list of kits to build:smiling4:

Cheers Si, though it's a old kit it goes together without any problems, no flash and hardly any horrible seam lines.
Pete.

Me to Pete. Its a great AFV to build. Looking really good. Much more construction to do before the hairy sticks come out??

Good to see this Pete. This was the first AFV I built after a few decades of not modelling, it was a nice kit spoiled by some horrible seam lines.

Sorry to say it's back in the box and heading for the bin, the photo etch is just one step to far for me now, need something a lot more simple to do.
Pete.

Don't bin it Pete, just finish it with the kit parts.

Agreed, don’t throw it away — just put it back in the stash to continue on later, or finish it without the etched parts if you don’t think you’re up to using them.

That looks great Pete, very nice work with the PE. Time to get some war paint onto it.
