Just wondered what every one does for Christmas.

Suspect some must work. My eldest daughter a district nurse is out and about until later afternoon. But she joins us with here 2 boys and husband. My younger daughter husband and another 2 boys. The only one missing is my youngest son who is living in London with his fiance. So there will be 12 and what a noise they do make. :D I am normally very quiet

Food. Usual christmas grub. My eldest son cook the meal. As long as he has sprouts and chestnuts I will be a happy man. Christmas pudding and brandy butter my wife Pauline who does a delicious pudding. Few glasses of wine all ok being chaufered by young daughtere. Then the presents. Must not forget the Queen.

So bottoms up to you people and have a great time. :P :D ;) :)

This year I have two days of holidays!!!! 25 & 26!!! :) believe me...is not habitual on my home/business.

My plan is the Christmas day stay with my parents all the day. And 26th work on my "man cave". I'm changing absolutely all the room :D

Best wishes and Merry Christmas ;)

At my mother's with my wife and two girls here in Farnborough then off to Wallasey to the out-laws. I usually spend my Christmas money in Hattons on something I don't need but there'll be a family outing to the Maritime Museum in Liverpool (excited) and probably to a NT property (not that excited). My daughter calls NT properties as old peoples houses.

For the first time in many years the good lady and I are having Christmas alone!

Her Farther is at work and her brother is in Columbia.

So a nice quiet Christmas with all the trimmings! Yeah!

And as neither of us have to drive home afterwards, we can even allow ourselves to get absolutely pyjamaed!

well for me a very quite one,as the other half, one son and daughter and her husband all over in the Philippines,

and only the other son and his wife at home, who will sleep most of the day ,maybe just go out for lunch,or some

think,as i have been feeling run down ,and dont wont to cook,

and for my side i have not seen or herd from for over 25 yrs,as most are back in the UK, or splinted all over EU,

so i will say a quite one,

do wish everyone and your a great Christmas, and a safe one :D

For me it is the usual my daughter Mia who has just turned 3 and loves the idea of santa and presents, my wife, mother in law and brother in law without his ball and chain as they are getting divorced. My father in law will drop by on Christmas eve, so food and beer and a very excited 3 year old... so from the clan noble a happy Christmas and a great new year to all here and those of us everywhere.

I don't have kids around so I'll be doing absolutely nothing! With a bit of luck I'll get it all done before I run out of time, but the trouble with doing nothing is that it's so difficult to tell when you've finished!

I just eat too much and drink too much. :)

We just have a nice quiet Christmas at home the wife puts her feet up I do all the cooking and we invite the mother inlaw, that's about it

Just myself and the Mrs this Christmas, kids all grown up and moved out, one son in Luton bringing in Christmas with his new baby daughter, my other two sons will be with their partners and our daughter will be with our grand children in Southampton, so it`s just us the dogs and the cat:D

Lots of grub and drinkies, along with a full belly:rolleyes: with lots of prezzies and a hang over;) sounds good to me:D

Merry Christmas to you all;)

Just immediate family on Christmas day, so four or six of us, then a succession of visits from the 'northern branch' of the family over the boxing day new year period.

I quite like the sound of Dave's (Gern) doing nothing :)

Whatever you will be doing, have a good one!

Cheers

Very rare we are on our own Christmas day so we are going to sit in front of the fire with a good drink eating anti pasti and watching films on tv, just chilling out in peace and quiet, may sound boring but we are looking forward to it, we really need some us time, Christmas is very busy for us at work.

quiet crimbo eve, just me and swmbo.....actually looking forward to having a drink or three

crimbo day will be off to visit kids and grandkids....watch them open prezzies

end up at daughter number 2's for crimbo dinner with her partner and granddaughter number 1 (theres 2 daughters and 1 son......3 grand daughters, 3 grand sons from swmbo first marriage.....i inherited a right bunch.........i wind up swmbo by calling them number 1 or number 3 etc :D )

then we are looking after Granddaughter number 1 for a couple of nights cos her mams working boxing day and the next day but shes no trouble......if the weathers fine then it will be a walk along the sea front i think to blow away the cobwebs

hopefully the bit between xmas and new year will be quiet...could do with relaxing a bit.......we are not going out new years eve.....one of the kids normally have a party but im not fussed and swmbo isnt well enough really either

then its back to work first sunday after new years :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

well in our house we will be stuffing ourselves with turkey and drinks -well I will ;) my wife will be cooking and my daughter /son who has just got engaged will be helping so hope you all have a happy xmas and a safe 1 and see you all in 2015 :)

Christmas Day will be spent at my house. My wife Leigh ,daughter Sam,Sam's boyfriend Jack, their baby Archie,Wife's older daughter Donna,The in laws and my parents.Nine of us in all.My parents live 70 miles away in Royston,Herts.I will go and get them christmas morning, then take them home in the evening. So no drinking on Christmas Day for me.Will make up for it on Boxing Day!.Its Archie's first christmas. But as he's only 3 months old it won't mean anything to him.

Working tonight, and the Christmas Eve and into early Christmas Day. Then it's probably straight out to have morning tea with Rach's family who do not talk to each other so means three different stops (o_O), then back to my folks for a traditional Christmas Lunch, and hopefully somewhere in that lot a nap or two.

All our family is in the UK so if I am not working we have a nice day together usual dinner and after maybe skypeing with some of the family we have a walk, I don't usually get kits as I manage to buy what I need myself, no noise, no arguments bliss. :)

Last day at work today, then a quiet Christmas at home here in Belgium. My parents have come across for the week so it will be a family Christmas and we will get the boardgames out, anyone for Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit or Cluedo?

Although I will try to sneak some "me" time to carry on with my current build, been travelling for work a lot recently so progress is at snails pace.

I will be off to spend the week or so with my lady, Janet, at her home in a village a few miles away near Canterbury. Unusually it will just be the two of us Christmas Day but on Boxing Day we will be joined by my two grown up boys, my mum and dad and Janet's daughter and family. During the break we will be off to spend a night or two 'oop north' (which is anywhere further north than Canterbury) to see Janet's son and family. No building for me from tomorrow until the 5th January.

Merry Christmas all.....

Yes! Ain't it nice when a plan comes together? :D

No 'phone calls. No visitors. No screaming kids. No family rows. No telly. No stupid party games. No eating/drinking 'til I burst. No annoying Xmas music. No mammoth washing up or tidying to do. No disappointment over inappropriate presents. Just wonderful peace and quiet all day .....

.... and I have just enough nothing left to do to keep me occupied tomorrow morning 'til my brother picks me up for one of our regular drinking sessions!

A perfect Xmas day! :D

First married Christmas so just us two and a huge turkey fantastic oh and the great escape.
