Well this has pushed me further into the realms of "I don't do planes", can't get em to look right. :(

Any way .... for your entertainment and frivolities.....

Budget cuts in the S. Korean airforce has led to WW2 aircraft being recycled and improvised to suit the tasks needed today.

The idea of creating a sturdy bi-winged reconnaissance aircraft specifically for offshore activity met with a slight problem in the maiden flight. On securing the aircraft to the docks and returning the following morning to carry on duties, the crew discover that tides are not as predicatable as their superiors had led them to believe.

Captain Sung Pak and Navigator Kim Lux can do nothing but sit and wait for the next drop of water to appear.

Thanks Laurie, the idea was to be a bit light hearted and give you all a giggle, whether it be at my workmanship or the subject matter :) :)

As for whats next? ... i'm dropping back onto the M*A*S*H diorama.

Hi Colin i don't know if your insanity is catching but that looks stranegly convincing ha ha. Great work on such a fun build Colin and the little story is just as funny as the build well worth 5 stars from me ( not that that means much ha ha )

Great stuff Colin. Love the little background story. not so much up the creek with out a paddle, more out to paddle with no creek. lol

A very imaginative build.

I love it colin , its brought a smile to my face every step of the way! The strange thing is , despite its total lunacy (and i mean that in a good way) it looks totally believable, someone who didnt know aircraft would never know it was made up! 5 stars for the whole concept/build/back story and reminding us why we do this thing- fun and enjoyment! cheers tony

Thats the funniest thing, and a great build. I've really enjoyed watching you create the aircraft and the dio sets it off just right.

Any thoughts you had about not being able to build planes should be well and truely dismissed.

Cracking, "nuff said.

Thanks for the comments guys, pleased you liked it ( and had a laugh too ).

I'm definitly not a great aircraft builder as they just don't look that "realistic" enough when i've done .... but this ... i had a smirk on my face for the most part when putting it together :) :) :)

Willi Messerschmitt is either turning in his grave or saying to himself: "Now why didn't I think of that?" :lol

That's a smasher Colin - a perfect whif!

well I really didn't expect such great comments.

this plane isn't in the same class as all the others built on here by a long way.

I really just built this for fun and to give everyone a tounge in cheek laugh.

thanks again for all the positives :) :)
