Second tow cable went well. Not exact but more than good enough for me

This round of figures is complete and the two seated guys are glued in place. They had really big hands back then....

I'm now at a bit of a stalemate. Due to a mix up at FOG Models the extra stowage for this and the Comets still hasn't arrived. I don't want to paint the tanks yet until I've messed around with the extras, made some tarps etc. so I'll be moving back to working on the base for now.

The carrier still needs more weathering but as usual I'm scratching my head where to even start with that! Hopefully once I have the groundwork further along it will come to me.

I'm still with you here Andy and enjoying your work more and more. I took a little vacation from the table, so I had to do a ketchup...Love the figs and the scratched tow cables look really good too. Please keep it coming and I'll try to keep up Sir!!!...

Loving this, and enjoying every step :)
The Carrier looks superb Andy, looking forward to seeing it all progress when your supplies arrive.

Thanks Andrew & Andy, glad you're liking what I'm up to.

Allen, where have you been old chap? I imagined you'd got yourself wrapped up tight in all that rigging, unable to communicate with the outside world :tongue-out2:

Nah Andy, it was just a break to do some research, spend a bit of cash and do some behind-the-scenes study. The rigging is done and so is the prop. I've also been selling some kits in evilbay to clear the stash. I have been trying to keep up with everything here, but haven't been doing a good job, I'm afraid. Getting old isn't helping it either my friend!!!...

It's always good to see you when you have chance to pop in mate. Sounds like you've been a busy boy but I'm loving your latest update.

Thanks Lee and Mick. Sorry for not replying sooner but I appreciate your support.

The little things seem to take the longest but firstly I've added the sides to the base and blended them in ready for the real groundwork and bridge building to begin.

I've also been adding some luggage to the UC and throwing a bit of mud at it.

The tent roll at the back was made by rolling foil tape around some florist wire. The stuff up front is from a bag of black dog bits I had lying around. It's not the best quality and not a patch on the Value Gear items that finally turned up today but does the job with some paint on it.

I really must get back to the tanks soon!

Andy,
Firstly my apologies for taking so long to comment. I have just had a catch up and wow some lovely modelling going on. the vehicles and figures all look excellent.

I missed this due to not habitually reading the dioramas category, but this is looking excellent :)

Thanks Jakko, glad you like it.

I do feel a little tucked away in here when so far I've mostly been building armour, but I do understand the reasoning behind Ian's guidance of keeping all elements together, so am happy to follow it.

Firstly love the whole layout of the dio Andy .
That black primer is superb on the two Comets.
Some really class work showing on this , figures for one and the bren gun carrier , wow !

Thank you John. I may be able to start painting the Comets this weekend which is something I've been looking forward to.

It's a long story but bench time has been a bit sparce for the past few days so I still haven't gotten around to painting the tanks yet. I have managed a bit here & there though so cracked on with some little bits like the stowage.

I took this picture to remind myself what will eventually go where:

Chain seems a bit out of scale now that I've seen it in the picture so may swap it for some finer stuff.
