1:48 - HobbyBoss - P-47D Thunderbolt Fighter - 85804

Hi guys,
I finished the P-47D, an inexpensive but rather nice fitting kit.

Some modifications were done (link to build topic) :
- 3D printed pilot, engine and spinner.
- Guns made from needles
- Landing gear was made gear-up
- Tried a rotating propeller
- Made a small base

Here's some more pictures of the finished build :














In this last one I added a spinner without propeller, for a different look.

That is an excellent result. We don't see that many in flight models perhaps because that necessitates a pilot and a spinning prop - you've done both
