Here's the finished model.

All brush painted using Vallejo Model Air acrylics. As I don't mask my models, everything is painted freehand, including the canopy frames.

Most of the decals are correct, but I couldn't resist the great nose artwork and kill tally for a second version of this fighter, so I combined the two.

I've tried to get the camouflage demarcation 'squiggles' something like. Some experts would probably tear my approximate effort to bits, but I'm happy enough with it.

Thanks for looking.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to fire up this machine. I have an invasion date to keep......

Nice clean finish Ron, nothing wrong with some liberal markings, its your model after all and they do look fitting :thumb2: :thumb2:

Great paintwork Ron and there's nothing wrong with a bit of the artistic license on your model as I indulge in that a lot myself.

570, a very clean build and I am in complete agreement with you as to making it the way "YOU" like it.

Thanks to those who've posted nice comments. Much appreciated.

Chris, I'll sort something asap.

I deliberately avoided any sort of weathering for a purpose...See the near future. ;)

Thanks again for all your posts.

Ron

Yo Mucker!

Glad you like me 'airyplain'.
Smooth? It should be after all me faffin' abaht trying to get summat like the right colour for the Beige/ Lt. Brown. Including the Dk. Brown, I reckon about 6 coats in total!

Next? No weathering is a good clue.... ;)

Thanks again.

Very, very nice Ron, definitely Aston Martin (the dog's bollocks) rather than Austin Allegro (total bollocks).

Cheers
