do appreciate the kind words,

not wrong at all ,Gavin, i watch most war movies and what not doc,o as well,

and some of what i did see well was a bit harsh so to say,but I think ,you cannot say one was worse than the other ,as what did happen

on the island,

Very gritty Moni, a frightening and realistic portrayal of a bloody war, shown in your usual high class manner. Well done.

yes there are chicken feathers and i would like to see how your palms, turn out as well,

always like to share idea,s with others, ;)
Too bad I stewed up all of my chickens last year, but my sons supervisor has plenty --will get a batch of feathers from him- have an old tamaya jap type 1 75mm spg always wanted to put her into a dio but proper tropical vegetation {lack of} held me back, also loved the "palm log bunker" sorry but must pilfer that also! LOVE - JIM ;)

ta Steve,Si,Peter ,Doug,so glad you all like it so,and do appreciate the kind words, ;)

ta Jim i did have a hard job finding the feathers as well, went to about 6 shops trying to get a feather duster,

and no one had ,so had to get them from a craft shop and lucky they had some,

the palm logs are just the new growth of the plum tree, with paper kitchen towel, with PVA,glue and water,

then rapped around,

also can use the feather,s to make other small types of palm type planes as well,

Excellent Monica, you have achieved great realism again, war is brutal no getting around it, well done.

captures the carnage of close combat very well! it looks like a nightmare to be in there!!

Thought I had commented this one Monica, must have fallen into the server shift rift...

Any how. A very nice gruesome diorama that tells it like it was. brutal and bloody.

Great work Monica
