In the last 10 days my activity on the forum and at the bench was reduced to almost 0 and the cause is the infamous virus. :face-with-thermometer:
We (my wife too is positive) caught it from our nephew (disco is more important than health ...). After more than a week I'm now beginning to feel a little better :face-with-head-bandage:.
I got the worst sore throat ever, a ferocious coughing (couldn't sleep and let sleep for three days) and some fever. Now the coughing has eased, the fever has gone but I'm pretty voiceless, which is not a great problem as I've always been an "untalkative subject" (definition branded by one of my English language teacher :smiling:). Still rather weak, I'll try to pass my "exit test" on Friday morning, but I'm not so confident in a positive result (which translates into a negative COVID Test result :rolling:).
Wife had milder symptoms but she's still COVID positive and her recovery seems not as swift as we would like.
And all this in spite of our 3 jabs (without which I would have probably spent last week in an hospital...).
Keep safe and stay away from headless youngsters.:worried:

All the best to you and your family. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery.

Hope you clear it out soon Andrea. It’s a nasty bug alright.

Welcome to the club, had it twice. :(

Hope you both feel better soon. :)

Andy,

Welcome to club. I tested positive yesterday but seem to have a pretty mild case so far, certainly compared to your symptoms.

My wife had her first negative test today.

Hope you're feeling much better soon.

ATB.

Andrew
