It's looking great so far Dave, good work on the brass it does add realism to the model.

Just seen this one coming along nicely and I used to live in Kent and on one of the roundabouts in Ashford they had one of these.

A quick blow over with primer has proved quite successful this morning it turns out there's minimal clean up. Now to decide on colours.

Can someone advise on the markings for desert camo the decals only have one black cheveron I'm sure it should have more than one the decal instructions only show the left side not the right so no idea which markings go there.

Hi Dave
Is it a operation telic /granby or Afghanistan vehicle your building ?

Well it looked good in Grey, but your homemade green looks bang on, even for an under coat.

Umm I really don't know as I'm used to just having white stars. Any help gladly received.

This is a bit of a mine field the norm was a chevron on the hull stowage bins on both sides a smaller chevron or the vehicle tactical call sign on the side of the large rear stowage bin and a chevron on the rear of the same bin.
Some cvrt's had no markings except callsigns

OK I'll take a pic of the decal sheet later and see what you think but I'm sure it only has one cheveron

Dave I have never seen any UK afv marked up like that
The front elevation is correct except no.13the bridging plate should be next to the number plate not underneath it
No. 20The small yellow warning plate should be on the box next to the gun
27 is correct and 26 goes on the opposite side
No.10 is a tactical callsign I have seen these on the rear stowage bin with a chevron on the other side
Hope this helps you out mate
Just found this online maybe of some use

Thanks I'll do my best with markings.
I'm now turning my attention to the tracks the easy bit is painting them to start with I don't know how they will go together or even if they will stay together.

A coat of steel to start.
