Hi All,

I'm just coming to the end of the Fairey Swordfish and I can't decide what to do next???

It's either the 1/48 Kingfisher.

or

The 1/48 Trumpeter JF-17 Thunder / FC1 Fierce Tiger.

I guess a decision over the weekend.

Bling it to much grey green n blue going on and when you put it on a shelf it will stand out from the rest

OK,

Well I think I'll go with the Kingfisher OS2 ............. I've seen loads of photos of various colour schemes on this plane. Mostly US Navy Recon and SAR. But the Kingfisher was in Service with NZ, Australia, Netherlands, Chile, Royal Navy and then I came across this.

The USSR had two during WWII on Lend Lease. I believe this picture is of a 1944 Northern Fleet aircraft. I've not seen a photo of one modelled before (maybe someone knows different). So a bit more research and then I think I'll "Crack-On".

Thanks for your input people.

Nice scheme, it will be unique. As an aside, the RNZAF never operated the Kingfisher.

No worries Peter. Maybe you read Netherlands? Either way it will look stunning in that Russian scheme, look forward to seeing it evolve.

I built this kit a couple of years ago.Did it in US Navy colours.Look forward to seeing yours in Russian markings.I painted the interior yellow chromate as per the instructions. When I'd nearly finished the model I found out the interiors were green!.

What shade of green are we talking here Dave ????? I'm still researching this and I have a whole lot of info and photos about all manner of stuff on this aircraft. But that is a new one...... I've found no mention of that.
