Saw this on a "life hacks" post and thought it might be a great idea for folk like me who have lost tiny parts to the dreaded Carpet Monster:

Great idea, sales of stockings by dodgy looking blokes will sky-rocket. Little do they know that it is modellers trying to find lost bits lol.

Speak for yourself, I think i look very professional when i walk into a bank wearing my stockings. DODGY indeed what would ever give you that idea

Very useful for collecting loose scatter material and ballast when doing the scenery on my model railway layout.

Very nice idea Alasdair. I will instruct Pauline on that one save me a great deal of time and problems. Keep her busy between cooking times.

I use a sock. Works just as well. As long as there is no holes in them that is :oops:
