hi hope i dont sound thick lol,

im returning to modeling after 10 year break but want to up my game before i never used to use extra parts or detailing kits etc but this time will be but after info on how to use photo etched parts etc as seen few for some models going start but they dont come with guidelines ??? are thety brass ,if so do i use instead of original parts ?? ant wat paint

There's usually a sheet showing what part it replaces/to cut off/remove with the photo etched. As for painting most are brass/metal so you just prime and paint when fitted but some are pre painted like instrament panels in planes so you paint the cockpit before fitting the PE/photo etched part hope this helps

hi thks have looked at few but couldent see any guides with it just the parts many thks ill order and see how goes there mainly for 1/72

If you take a look at the Eduard site you can print off the specific PDF instructions for each set before you buy

Obviously that's just Eduard, the others don't have that
