Ayo guys, as i am woundering if i should buy the tamiya f4 phantom jasdf i was also thinking of making a diorama. The plane is really detailed and look like to have a nose radar. But then i want a diorama. So ahould i buy either a ww2 german plane whit dio or a nowaday plane like f-4 phantom jasdf. And if you have any plane recomendation. Could you tell me then and also recomend dio stuff for it or just somthing for the jasdf. Pls recomend me somthing in 1:32, or if you only have 1:48. I really want to make a dio

There are so many possibilities for dioramas that the information you've given us is too vague. Aircraft dios can range from simple concrete bases, through dirt field airstrips, through to airfield buildings and hangars - all of which can involve a wide range of techniques and materials and extra kits such as ground support vehicles and equipment and buildings.

If you scroll down through the Forums list, you'll find a whole section devoted to dioramas. A read through those will give you some ideas and once you have some sort of outline of what you want to do, there's loads of guys here who can give more detailed help.

Dioer for fly kan variere fra enkle betongbaser, via landingsstriper, til flyplassbygninger og hangarer – som alle kan involvere et bredt spekter av teknikker og materialer og ekstra sett som kjøretøyer for bakkestøtte og utstyr og bygninger.

So what i was thinking of was if any of you guys can recomend me a kit. A plane whit interiour, and that can stand in a hangar in repair. And also you guys can recomend me any tool kit for plane repair. Or if you guys have any good dio stuff for a phantom in 1:32

Hi Benjamin, since both planes in different era's are being serviced I'd recommend you look at reference photos on that idea for both and glean the surroundings of the scene and see if you can replicate or purchase kits that have these bits and pieces like tools, ladders, jacks, extinguishers, oil drums, jerry cans, start up motors, refueling trucks, bomb and missile cradles, scale maintenance figures, hangars, revetments. tarmac...these are just some. You can start by going through John's shop list to see if he has these in the scale you want.
A dio is something that is conjured by the creator and is personal. So you've got to do a bit of digging yourself to enjoy the process then it becomes your very own creation. If it becomes a Picasso on your first try then good but if not you progress to the next and do better.
Half the fun of modelling is referencing and searching.

Hei Benjamin , siden begge flyene i forskjellige tidsepoker blir betjent, vil jeg anbefale deg å se på referansebilder på den ideen for begge og finne omgivelsene rundt scenen og se om du kan replikere eller kjøpe sett som har disse bitene som verktøy , stiger, jekker, brannslukningsapparater, oljefat, jerry cans, oppstartsmotorer, tankbiler, bombe- og missilholdere, vedlikeholdsfigurer for vekter, hangarer, bekledninger. asfalt ... dette er bare noen. Du kan starte med å gå gjennom butikklisten til John for å se om han har disse i den skalaen du ønsker.
En dio er noe som trylles frem av skaperen og er personlig. Så du må grave litt selv for å nyte prosessen, så blir det din helt egen skapelse. Hvis det blir en Picasso på første forsøk så bra, men hvis ikke går du videre til neste og gjør det bedre.
Halve moroa med å modellere er å referere og søke.

Not very many cars in 1/32. Airfix did do some pre WW2 cars in 1/32. I was lucky to find a 1/72 scaled Volkswagen.

I looked on ebay for a 1/32 Hangar and found these:

I'm sure similar searches for ground equipment, weapons etc. will help you find out what's available. Even if you don't buy from ebay, at least you will find out who makes what.

I strongly recommend that you look at 1/48 scale. A scale that you can find aircraft, personal, vehicles and workshop tools for. Is large enough to build to a good size without filling the whole room. A 1/32 dio of a Phantom with figures and all that and vehicle is going to be dinner table size. In 1/48 coffee table size.
If you have the room fine but for me way to big. Would rather do two or three in 1/48 scale than just the one in 1/32 or 1/35.
