A vexed question for the gentlemen!

I stand up when spraying and always have done. I more or less have to nowadays due to the position of my spray booth but I did anyway when I used to spray outside my back door :)

I stand up ! But I leave the seat down the wife does her fruit !

Oh hang on......your talking about modelling aren't you ....d'ho!!!

From the title Steve I thought you were talking about something else;). I do a bit of both standing and sitting there's no real set pattern it just depends on the day.

I once tried arguing that seat up was the default position and that she was welcome to put it down whenever she needed to. I won't be trying that again!

What about spraying though, are you a stand or sit man?

Cheers

Steve

I sit as my compressor is under my desk.

Mine is too, but my spray booth is quite high.

I just snapped this picture, it's not normally quite such a mess!

Cheers

i stand,......always have........my spray box has been in three houses/apartments, each time its been at a height where its comfortable to use

tried it sitting once and it felt very uncomfortable

Bad move trying to argue common sence where the toilet seat should be positioned lol.

I stand but I have to do it outside , I only undercoat my kits.

Standing up to spray, and outside too, I have a special spraying tray all battered and full of all sorts of colours :) Sit down to paint though.

Si:)

At the old place I used to stand in the garage. Since moving I have sat down & found it more comfortable & produced better stuff.

Just cobbled together a formica kitchen top off cut & got 4 S/S legs & produced a dedicated airbrush area.

Also on the left I have installed a remote compressor air pressure adjusture with gauge. Saves, especially at my age, grovelling under the table to get at the compressor to adjust the pressure.

The bed on the right is for when the brain cells go off line so the body can rest them.

My 'spray booth' is a large cardboard box standing next to the sink so I have to stand up to spray.

You might try telling your missus to just get used to lifting/lowering the seat. You have to! :)

Very nice Laurie. If I want to change airbrushes I have to unscrew one and screw on the next one!

I have a confession to make........I hardly ever adjust my air pressure, it's a much over rated pass time :)

Cheers

I'm a sitter, as the home made spray booth AKA a plastic box, is on an old computer desk and standing would bu**er my back.

And on the subject of toilet seats, I always go with what the good lady says, it's easier that way,

Tony

I do both. It all depends on my mood and how long I've been sitting down already. Mostly sit though

Actually Steve what looks like an airbrush on the left is just an Harder & Steinbeck air blower. It bypasses the air regulator & screams out air at about 35psi.

With the airbrush I fitted a quick release gadget.
