My missus has no interest in my hobby whatsoever. She does however support my efforts.
She has her own interests, knitting and sewing. I encourage her. I reckon that she won't begrudge my spending given that her sewing machine cost the best part of £1000 and her new overlocker (whatever that is) cost over £500.

Yep, Missus Miko the mother-in-law and steppie have overlockers, they are a special machine that uses more threads to finish edges and seams! Sadly they don't fix model seams!

Sewing stuff is a family thing, missus Miko and her mum are hobbyists but the girl is a professional, she got her degree from StMartins collage in Wimbledon.

Miko (competition for space in the hobby room can be fierce with the clatter of sewing machines and the drone of my compressor)

NO! My missus has no interest in my hobbies at all.
Mine has her own studio for her sewing and craft stuff, and knitting while watching telly.
It is rare for her to come into my studio, for which I am grateful it is my sanctum sanctorum.
