Started 'fleshing out this great bust by Dolman Miniatures, will be off to the drying box for a couple of days and then I can start to build up the shadows highlights and put some life into her with some Golden Barok Red
Seems to have a bit of the "Marilyn" look about her.....should do just fineI like where you are going with this one Steve. Carry on Sir.:thumb2:
She does doesn’t she, not sure if that’s all down to the sculpt or also the way I have painted her, either way very pleased with her progressSteve, Looking great.
Good point, haven’t added any varnish yet, so will add some to the cuffs and skirtOh my, Marylyn is coming on nicely.....things are starting to "pop". I love the slight sheen you have on the leather, looks just right to my eyes. A small detail though, and please ignore it if you wish, the knitt cuffs and skirt round the waist would, on the real jacket be a bit darker brown and dead flat to the eye. Just a small detail my old eye picked up while scanning the other fine work on this "beauty"![]()
I'm in love.......Got her head and arms attached, Darkened the cuffs and the ‘skirt’ on the jacket, next up her hands
Who wouldn’t beI'm in love.......
To Kind, but thank youSteve, That is Perfect to my eyes Excellent and just plain Outstanding Sir!! :thumb2: :thumb2:
