Wow, you build fast Monica. Looking very good, great work on the camo scheme. I have 2 questions with this build, if you could answer them it would be helpful

1. What did you use to create the streaks on the side of the tank?

2. What did you use to make the logs? Just sticks?

thanks so much Bob,so glad that you do like this one, much appreciated, comments, :D

No 1-what I do is just use washer ,first I used a dark grey, like pin lining, then a German red/brown,used much the same way,,lite rust, which I make out of steel nail, 9_9

not on all joins, just were I think it would get the most lite surface rust,

then for the staining so to say I used, flat earth as a wash, but all are very thin,as I just use my colors and never buy a wash, o.O

hope this is of some help, 9_9

No 2,yes I use thine branches,as I like the texture and the natural, moost as so on , on them, the same as I would for tree trucks, :D

well a busy day again,so no table time for me, :(

did get a bit done from 6am,till,8am,some more work on the base, and started my tree,

added in more branches,as It was a little bare, and for the foliage I will use asparagus fern, which I have socking in 60,40,PVA/water,

will leave in there for a couple of days,so it socks in,and hopeful will preserve it some what, O.o

as I will have a topping of show,as well,with more PVA,which should help,well that's what I,m hoping for, 9_9

made a start with the figures,as well, blocked in the colors,

so thats about all I have time for today, >:(

well hope your liking the progress,so far, :D

well under the watchful eyes,of Mr tom cat the seat sealer,I finished off the cannon yesterday morning before going out,

and got some color on it last night, and started the tracks,as well,

let the glue set in the middle part of the tracks over night, then about 30 mins ago ,did the end parts of about 70mm or so,

that bend up and around ,then will make up the middle top bits of track to fit, :D

so once the tracks are done the better I real don't mind doing them, 9_9

next will be start the inside

hope your liking this so far, 9_9

God I hate individual track links!!! >:( ...I have so many great kits in the stash with these moldings from hell but with my very limited modeling time I feel discouraged from doing them :( ..I did one half of the tracks on my SU76 SSIG or what ever, and felt darn near spent on the whole model o.O ....Give me the vinyl serpents any time as I've leaned how to tame them...........Jim ^_^

the figures look really good monica , can't wait to see the finished product

That does look like a chilly scene Monica - cooling me down on one of the hottest days of the year here in London!  :)

The Nashorn looks really good & the figures are ace.
