Cockpit all done including the PE parts

The Engine painted and even given a wash to look a bit "oily" not sure how much will show when the fuselage is all buttoned up

This is a real pain, all three fins come separate and each has only a small round pin to help guide placement.

Beginning to look like a plane now

These little beggers are fiddly to, each fin has to be stuck on separate.

with this i called it a night.

I've had it in my stash for a while but wanted to hold out on it until i'd got a little better skills wise.

Its worlds apart from the Encore Beaufort i've got along side it, i dont know how Encore could have the nerve to sell it LOL

disaster... the decals are shot.

touched them after soaking and they shattered.

Does anyone know if anyone of someone that sell any?

Was going to post how great this was looking and then I read about your decal troubles, so I had a trawl through Hannants and found some decals for defence of the reich - Buy Almark AKC10 1:72 scale from Hannants. We sell Aircraft decals (military), models, decals, paints & books. - here.

Hope this helps because it would be such a shame not to finish it.

i've managed to cobble together enough to finish it.

a few of its own didnt disintegrate and i got the rest from the spares box.

I'll post photos once photobucket have got their finger out of the bum and sorted their problems out

That's looking great what an interesting German plane I will have to keep an eye open for that one, glad you got the decal sorted out in the end. Its a lovely looking plane would really like that one in my collection.

Wayne I know how frustrating decal disasters are,nice save. The build looks fantastic ,would love to see more pics!
