Myself and daughter No 1 got the old jalopy out and set off for drive it day 2022.


But not just wanting to drive around aimlessly, I needed a destination, so we set off for Tatenhill airfield near Burton on Trent. I've driven past here a few times but never stopped.

Well, a nice cup of tea at the airfield cafe, and this landed, taxing right past where we were sitting.

An Me 108 I think. Good job I was driving an MG and not a Spitfire !

I feel your pain. I've been on permanent gardening duty with all this decent weather, but not today. I had a day off.
