discussion Ducati 900SS, Tamiya 1/12 scale

as if i havnt got enough on the go at the moment lol

doing this for a bike GB somewhere else

originally it only came in black, silver or silver/electric blue.........im thinking of doing it in classic Ducati Red, plenty were resprayed ........although swmbo keeps telling me to do it black.....we shall see

not got much done due to stupid shifts at work

but been drilling out the brake discs.....nearly done!....i actually find this quite theraputic lol

going to be facing a problem soon............my airbrush has gone u/s and i cant afford a replacement at the moment..........and i dont think i have any rattle cans the right colours.......so this might grind to a stop for a short while quite soon

now im at a point where i can start putting bits together!

spent the last week painting and applying decals............i think red is going to work with the gold decals

the decals have been a bugger, not gone down as nice as i would have liked dispite copious amounts of microsol

the motor is going together

and i got it in the frame tonight

I think the red looks brilliant Paul , whenever I think of Ducati thats the colour that always springs to mind , like Ferrari always conjures up scarlet , lambo -yellow , Alfa Romeo -rosso corse (darker red) , jaguar- BRG etc. Excuse me for being a bit thick but why are there 3 brake discs , hasnt the bike only got 2? cheers tony

you think the same as me......ducati are just naturally red

two discs on the front wheel, one on the rear.........look at the photos at the start
