Time to give this a go this a halt on teign Valley railway that was a inland route from Exeter to Newton abbot by passing the sea wall route.
I have actually visited this location but not much to be seen except for the bridge abutments.
I can't quite make it exactly but challenge will be the halt is situated on the side of a hill with road passing under the bridge on a slope but here is what I have to start with.
And the last picture it's what I will be trying to recreate
Go to Google maps and search for Cotley Lane to see the area as it is today IMG_20210703_132826.jpgIMG_20210703_132852.jpgIMG_20210703_132905.jpgIMG_20210703_132840.jpgIMG_20210703_132910.jpgIMG_20210703_133114.jpgIMG_20210703_132833.jpgunnamed.jpg

Looks an interesting project Peter, I'm old enough to remember when the Dapol kits were made by Airfix, the fences were made of a plastic that no paint could stick to!

Very nice idea Peter. Been through Dunsford many many times. South Devon & Dartmoor are Pauline's & my favorite.
Had our honey moon (many moons ago) down that way.

Very nice to see that the Exeter Okehampton railway will be restored soon. Great countryside.

Hi Peter
A very interesting, unusual idea for a model.

Hi Peter with me being a big railway fan, a good Halt station diorama sounds like a great idea. :thumb2:
